Joshua M. Porter – was a paratrooper in the US Army. Born in Destin, Florida. In 2012, for the first time, he presented his photos on Modelmayhem, acting as a male model in the fitness modeling industry, his unique body type was an advantage.
But due to the fact that Joshua had many good photos in military uniform, he caught the attention of Internet scammers from all over the world and became a victim of identity theft.

I’ve been a victim of a scammer. A Maine going by Joe Reyes said he was in Syria and needed boots. Being gullible , I sent money via pay pal through a third party scubbasky . I realized at that point it was bogus but I couldn’t get my money back. This guy sent me a message on fb and has no friends, which should of been my first clue and hardly any posts. If you see this guy Joe Reyes and it’s a picture of him and his son, it’s a scam.
Did you run his picture though PimEyes? That’s where you’ll get results. Sadly, you have to pay for it.
He went by the name of Harry on Facebook Dating. Said he was in the military stationed not far from me. Then all of a sudden when it’s almost time meet he is sent to Yemen. The scammer who uses Joshua Porter’s photos is called Steven Barry, and we met on Telegram. He asked me for a Walmart card, and said he doesn’t have electricity anymore. When I said no, he called me stingy. Scammers like using God to appear Christian like. I can’t help but laugh because it’s obviously a scammer.
He hit me up and is going by Jim Porter born March 1980…. asked to talk on hangouts, then started saying he needed me to buy him a Steam card. He called and sounded like a creepy south African guy. Bad grammer, does not know basic American terms….. says he sounds different because he tavels.

Today he also uses the name Edde Heinrich. He contacted my via instagram and wanted and wanted to use hangout to talk . He still uses the same story. single father, wife deceased, on a mission in afghanistan, … Unfortunately it took a few days before I realized it. The story was just too weird what he was telling. Today his name is Edward Kalfman. He said he is still in the army and that his daughter is 6 living in California. This is some sick stuff. I asked for a photo with his holding a sign that says my name. He did it, but I can only assume it is photo shopped. What a horrible man.

I was contacted via a dating site by someone using this man’s pictures and going by the name of Rodney Anderson Porter. The person claiming to be him claims to be stationed in Afghanistan with no access to his money.
