August Ames (real name Mercedes Grabowski; born August 23, 1994, in Nova Scotia, Canada – died December 5, 2017, in California, United States) was a Canadian-American model and media personality.

She spent her early life in a military family, frequently relocating across Canada. Before her modeling career, she worked as a nanny, bartender, and tanning salon assistant.

Ames began her professional modeling career in 2013 and gained international attention for her work in various photo and media projects. In 2015, she was recognized with several professional nominations for her modeling performances.

She was married producer Kevin Moore.

On December 5, 2017, she was found deceased in Ventura County, California. The coroner’s report determined the cause of death as suicide by hanging.
